happy St. Patrick’s day!
I’m so excited, I’m off to London in a couple of weeks and then, taking a little holiday in Ireland! I’ve never been to Ireland and am really looking forward to it! I’ve been too busy to do any research and I’m sure I’ll be doing that at the last minute! We have some business to take care of at QVC and are going to do a little shopping at a fabulous ribbon and trim shop I did manage to locate.
I’m going to meet one of my new buddies while I’m there and she’s going to join us at the ribbon shop. (I’ll let her announce it to her friends.) Anyway, I do wish we had longer in London. I’d love to do some more trend shopping along Kings Road. I’m a huge fan of the Designer’s Guild and visited their store on my last trip over. I thought I was going to break into tears! LOVE IT! and to see it for real, not just on the website or in a book, yummmmmy! Tricia Guild is one of my heros. Her color sense, her bold scale, her books, her business sense! I pretty much want to be her! CAN’T WAIT!!! I have to say, I’ve really earned a few days off.
I haven’t forgotten about posting my project from the challenge “Bedizen” below. It’s nearly done, the glue is drying! some times things just need time, like careers, ya know?!? There are so many talented designers in the world and I’m so lucky to have many artist and designer friends. We share with each other our victories, our challenges, our goals and aspirations. I have some specific goals that I had put in place way back when. One is to have a fabric line…I’m working on it and have some strong possibilities in place! I’ll be so excited when this happens…(not if, but WHEN)…that’s the key. Only positive thinking! I also have some specific goals for my paper product lines and my business and those are also in the works. I know they will happen, it’s just a matter of WHEN!
And speaking of friends and heros, I have a special interview coming up later this week with one of my best buddies! She’s a real inspiration and I know that you’ll find her story interesting. Stay tuned……

I was in King’s Road just the other day I haven’t been there since I worked there nearly 14 years ago ! It has changed so much, most of the shops have I knew then have gone. I had to go nearby to the Italian Consulate for some important papers and since Vince has never been I decided to show him it. Towards the end of King’s Road there’s a ‘L’Occitane’ shop. The Polish sales assistant is uber-sweet and offered me a green tea ! I love their soaps and lotions.
Can you believe it ? I just live 2 miles down the road and never managed to go….I hate my agoraphobia but it’s getting better !
Have fun in London ! Again Happy Easter !
PS: I’ve used one of your papers for my Easter cards, I just love using it ! It’s the one with patterned flowers…love it !
Here’s a link where you can see the three cards made with your paper:
